b'This week for my birthday episode we are Kush Chatting with DJ sMiLez who is from New York City. He started out rapping since 2008 with his closest friends TC and BraB. By 2009 he released his first mixtape called "The New Age of Edition" inspired by his artist Splizzy Hendrix\'s 2nd Mixtape "American Dreamer." Later on that year, DJ sMiLez started making beats and editing instrumentals with their chorus. He made a name for himself across YouTube having thousands of followers loving his creative work. By 2014, he decided to DJ. His mentor (DJ Polisher) taught him how to mix, blend songs with one another. Music has always been his passion since his early childhood. In 2015, DJ sMiLez took DJing more seriously and debuted his performance at Mimosa Lounge.
