Los Angeles has seen a push towards building public transportation and active transportation infrastructure, but there has been a well funded opposition to these changes. Removing driving lanes, lowering driving speeds, and installing bike lanes are proven ways to decrease the number of road fatalities, and dedicated activists have been pushing the city to expand these initiatives. Roadblock, the man behind Wolfpack Hustle and the LA Marathon Crash Race joined me to talk about his work to make cycling safer and what it's been like to work with the city. As development continues we're going to find these conversations about how we plan our communities and how we interact with our neighborhoods front and center in LA political life.\n\nIf you want to know more check out: http://wolfpackhustle.com/\n\nAnd for a great write up on the global impact of LA's cycling community: https://cyclingtips.com/2018/03/barely-controlled-chaos-the-life-and-death-of-the-wolfpack-marathon-crash-race/\n\nKNOCK-LA now has a Patreon!
