Corbin Carson Reports - The Orange County DA and Sheriff departments have been sued for an alleged jail informant program.
The ACLU has sued OC law enforcement for allegedly recruiting snitches to get confessions. Attorney Brendon Hamme says the OC District Attorney and Sheriff departments have been running the jail informant program for decades.
Hamme says the departments were using the informants to get information on other defendants sometimes using threats of murder. The OC Sheriff Department says it doesn\u2019t comment on pending litigation. The DA has not yet respond to request for comment.
