After 36 years, Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios and Paramount Media Networks President Chris McCarthy announced that the network will be shutting down MTV News. As a\xa0media\xa0source\xa0where\xa0many Gen-X and Millennials\xa0consumed\xa0entertainment and political coverage, it marks end of an era for many Americans.\n\xa0\nKennedy shares that while she is sad to see the network come to an end, she is not surprised.
