Lagusta Yearwood started her culinary career as a form of activism as a graduate from the Natural Gourmet Institute in New York. It all came back to chocolate when she officially opened the first vegan chocolate shop in the world, Lagusta\\u2019s Luscious in New Paltz, NY.\\xa0 Lagusta\\u2019s Luscious also operates Commisary! A cafe just a couple blocks from Lagusta\\u2019s Luscious also in New Paltz, NY, and Confectionary! A retail sweets shop in New York City.
