Happy to introduce Episode 12 of Environmental Professionals. This episode is about Youth and Biodiversity in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Yoba Alenga Extasié has bachelor degree in Plant Breeding and currently enrolled in a Master Program in Biodiversity and Sustainable Forests management at the University of Kisangani. Extasié is the National Coordinator of Congolese Youth Biodiversity Network (GYBN-DRC) which a youth-led organizations that aims to connect all young people of the DRC that share the passion of biodiversity while providing a platform where young people to exhibit and cultivate their ideas, talents, skills, and experience. He is involved with many youth-led organizations and he is a judge at the United Nations Champions of Earth Competition since 2018.
