Rachel Oliver-Cobbin

Rachel Oliver-Cobbin is a singer, performer, actress, entrepreneur, business owner, and former Miss Black America. She was chosen by the the world-renowned R&B group, Atlantic Starr, as the female lead singer to replaced Portia Martin in 1991 for their album, Love Crazy, which produced one of the biggest hits of the group's career, Masterpiece. She toured with the band, making appearances all across the world and country; which included one on Soul Train. She can also be heard on the group's rendition of Silver Bells that is featured on the Home Alone 2 soundtrack. She has shared the stage with some of the recording industry's most famous performers through winning the title of Miss Black America in 1987. Rachel is a seasoned actress; having graced the stages of many musical theater productions in Boston, Detroit, Cleveland, New York, and Los Angeles. Rachel drops by on Tuesday, January 8, at 8:30pm EST, to talk about her successful career and what she's been up to of late.
