This is part of a special sub series in which Marc interviews the winners and the contributors of the competition in the coming weeks!\\nMore about Ferrowine:\\nThe adventure of the Ferro family began in 1920 as a tavern with a shop and then developed as a cellar. In those years, in fact, Giovanni Ferro bought grapes in the neighboring production areas and vinified them. A small business that supplied taverns, families and customers.\\nShortly thereafter, the first home distributions also started, which took place with a simple cart pulled by a horse. In the following years, his son Gastone transformed the winery business into a commercial company. He immediately joined wine with drinks, specializing in the trade of grappa, vermouth, chinati, French liqueurs and Marsala which were among the most popular products at the time.\\nIn 1990 his sons, Michela and Giovanni, took over the company and through expansions and acquisitions extended the commercial boundaries to the Montello and Pedemontana area. A more organized sales network and a new strategy allowed a wider and more widespread distribution.\\nIf you want to learn more you can by visiting:\\nwww.ferrowine.it/content/8-horeca\\nMore about the host Marc Millon:\\nMarc Millon, VIA Italian Wine Ambassador 2021, has been travelling, eating, drinking, learning and writing about wine, food and travel for nearly 40 years.
