Oscar Blue at Folk Alliance International
b'Oscar Blue is a 21 year old songsmith from the west of Ireland. Since his debut releases in late 2018, Oscar has experienced breakout success, with his music now streamed over 3 million times worldwide on Spotify. This feat was complemented by headline shows from Dublin to New York and an appearance on the main stage at Ireland\'s acclaimed Indiependence festival in 2019. Since then, the 21-year-old has been in musical hibernation working with renowned producer Philip Magee (Kodaline, The Script). This new partnership has been a catalyst for Blue, as he strives to reach heightened levels of creativity and a fuller, richer sound. To date, Oscar\\u2019s work has largely reflected his deep love for the folk music and acoustic songwriting which is so often associated with his home in the west of Ireland.
