b"We are excited to announce the line up for our #MayoDay2021 virtual concert which will take place on Saturday 1st May 2021 (6pm). We are partnering with Mayo County Council as part of their festival programme & Mayo.ie will live-stream our Concert. The population of Mayo is little over 130,000 but it's estimated that there are 3.5 million people around the world with Mayo origins. The first Mayo Day event took place in 2015 and no other county in Ireland has a day dedicated to its people and place! Safe Home Ireland started off as a pilot project in 2000 in beautiful Mulranny, where our head office is still located. We are marking our 21st anniversary this year and while we are a national charity with a global remit we are extremely proud of our Mayo roots! Come join an outstanding line-up of performers from Co. Mayo, led by our Ambassador, Sean Keane! Many will perform from iconic locations and all observing Covid-19 restrictions in place at this time. We are really looking forward to connecting with our Mayo friends, family, colleagues in Ireland and abroad as well as all those who would like to connect with all things Mayo!
