Emma Langford is a singer-songwriter from Limerick. Her vocal style blends Irish lilt with folk and jazz, and her guitar work delicately complements an intuitive sense of melody; Langford has woven a sound which Phil Coulter describes as \\u201ca breath of fresh air\\u201d.The artist\\u2019s wry and insightful penmanship combined with a cheerful stage-demeanour prove to create an engaging live presence. She has shared a stage with internationally recognised artists such as Ron Sexsmith, Eddi Reader, Declan O\\u2019Rourke, Rois\\xedn O and Hermitage Green, to name but a few.In 2016 Emma successfully crowd-funded and launched her debut EP which was toured at sold-out dates across the country. The EP received airtime on 2fm, RT\\xc9 Radio1, LyricFM, and Newstalk.She recently completed her first solo Irish tour in September, ahead of a month-long tour of Germany and Switzerland with the Irish Folk Festival this winter. Her debut album \\u201cQuiet Giant\\u201d described by Today Fm\\u2019s Ed Smith as \\u201cabsolutely stunning\\u201d is due for official release on the 18th October.Langford was named \\u201cBest Solo Female Artist\\u201d for 2017 by Pure M Magazine, and was listed as Hot Press Magazine\\u2019s one-to-watch in the summer of 2016.
