b'Cathy Murphy is the Executive Director of The Irish Canadian Immigration Centre The Eamonn O\\u2019Loghlin Irish Canadian Immigration Centre assists Irish diaspora from across the island of Ireland, offering outreach and information, nationally, in 3 key areas: Immigration System Navigation: work permits, permanent residency (PR), citizenship, loss of status; facilitating access to Government of Ireland consular services; sign-posting to returning home services. Employment Guidance and Resources: direction on resumes, applications, interview skills, networking, local labour markets, credential recognition, EI, taxation, temporary foreign worker protections Social Services Navigation and Associated Inequities: sign-posting to providers; mental-health and well-being awareness raising Eamonn O\\u2019Loghlin was chair of I/CAN from December 2011 to December 2012. He led the committee that founded the centre and lobbied the Irish government and Irish community organizations across Canada for start-up funding.
