Deal or no deal, the UK will take up an independent seat at the World Trade Organization after Brexit.\n\nThis event explored what role the UK should play and how can it defend its interests in an organisation under pressure to reform.\n\nOur panel included:\n\nNick-Ashton Hart \u2013 Geneva Representative for Digital Trade Network\n\nBernardine Adkins - Head of EU, Trade and Competition at Gowling WLG LLP\n\nIana Dreyer \u2013 Editor of Borderlex, European trade policy specialist\n\nDr. Stephanie Rickard \u2013 Professor of International Trade at LSE\n\nThe event was chaired by Jill Rutter, Programme Director at the Institute for Government. There was an opportunity for audience questions.
