HBCU Future in DI Basketball

INSiiGHTS has spirited discussion on the performances of the HBCUs \u201cpride & joy\u201d basketball teams in the NCAA Tournaments. March Madness started with optimism as a result of the North Carolina Central men\u2019s team starting with the highest seed of a Black College Division I team and the Lady Pirates of Hampton starting with the highest seed EVER given to an HBCU program as a 12th seed. INSiiGHTS looks at both programs came crashing to earth leaving many wondering if we can compete at the Division I level. INSiiGHTS takes a look at those losses and wonders if the beat of doom is drawing nearer ...................

Coach Mickey Clayton and fellow basketball fan, Clayton Smith argue and discuss the plight of the HBCU Division I basketball programs during the NCAA Basketball Tournaments. They discuss the ramifications of the games that were not even close even though two of the participants had the highest seeds ever received by Men or Women HBCU basketball programs.

Donal has a passion for HBCU football and spends a lot of time on his various entertainment avenues to promote and highlight the stories of HBCU institutions.
