Today marks the 90th anniversary of "The Star-Spangled Banner" becoming the national anthem of The United States of America, so on this National Anthem Day, Boyd celebrates the history, spirit, and lyrics of this most famous ballad. Many people have no idea there are actually four official verses to the anthem, and even fewer know about an unofficial fifth verse, written a half-century later by poet Oliver Wendell Holmes.
