Today is a historical day as President Trump presides over the Arab-Isreal Abraham Accord aimed at creating peace in the middle east. This signing could signal a shift to more democratic values and representation in the primarily authoritarian region. The signing also aligns up with today being the United Nations International Day of Democracy, which provides an opportunity to review the state of democracy in the world.
