The year 2020 laid bare a concerning disconnect between elected officials and the American people, and 2021 is shaping up to magnify that chasm. While opposing sides are declaring the “day of reckoning” is coming for the other, Boyd would like to point out that the real day of reckoning is happening for the leaders who have disconnected from their constituents they are supposed to represent.
