Deidre Henderson’s call to inclusion, connection, and respect is exactly what Utah needs

Published: Jan. 5, 2021, 7:31 p.m.

Yesterday the state of Utah got a new Gubernatorial Administration which includes Lieutenant Governor Deidre Henderson, who gave a historical and insightful inaugural speech. She called back to the pioneering spirit of our American and Utahn history, where individuals showed “answerable courage” in their words and deeds. She called for the continued practice of this courage as we strive toward diverse inclusion, connection, and respect in the Beehive State’s representation. A message we call can respect.  ‘Inside Sources with Boyd Matheson,’ Opinion Editor at Deseret News, takes you inside the latest political news and current events, providing higher ground for today's discussions.
