Black History Banners - Lilia Halfkenny
In celebration of Black History month, Queen Street is lined with banners featuring the photos and histories of some of New Brunswick's significant Black citizens. Mary Louise McCarthy-Brandt helped curate the banner project as a board member with New Brunswick's Black History Society. She tells the story of Lilia Halfkenny of Dorchester.
