On the second part of Indy Radio News aired on October 15th on WBAI (99.5 FM)we talked to Marni Halasa, lawyer, journalist, performing artist, who runs the Red Eye Coffee about the Small Business Job Security Act (SBJSA). Marni ran for City Council in District 13 last year. After seeing the needs of her community she started an anti-gentrification group, Community Control of Land Use, to collectively organize small businesses and tenants.
