UFT Retirees Running Opposition Slate in Upcoming Internal Election

At the United Federation of Teachers, one of the city\u2019s largest municipal unions, UFT Retiree Advocate, a group of retiree activists, announced on Friday that they will contest an internal union election this spring for leadership of the retiree chapter which has more than 60,000 members.
