We look at the continued surge of pro-Palestine protests in New York City, starting with a report-back from Monday\u2019s shutdown of Lower Manhattan traffic by pro-Palestinian protesters who made national headlines yesterday when they blocked inbound traffic on the Brooklyn, Manhatta,n and Williamsburg Bridges and outbound traffic at the Holland Tunnel. \n\nOver the weekend the Ridgewood Tenants Union led a 1,000-person march that highlighted the displacement experienced in both rapidly gentrifying neighborhoods like Ridgewood and by Palestinians at the hands of Israeli settlers. We speak with two organizers from the Ridgewood Tenants Union, Raquel Namuche and Lamisse Beydoon. \n\nLastly, we hear from Indy author Lara-Nour Walton who wrote a cover story about the Little Palestine neighborhood in South Brooklyn.
