The Israel/Palestine military clashes follow protests in East Jerusalem over an Israeli move to evict Palestinian families form their homes in East Jerusalem. Officials in Gaza report that 26 Palestinians, including 9 children, have been killed. Two people in Israel were also reported killed. \n\u2014Intercept writer Rose Adams, who broke a story that debases some of the claims of Jean Kim, City Hall lobbyist who alleged that Comptroller Scott Stringer sexually harassed her, roiling the NYC mayoral race. \n\u2014The Indypendent's Todd Fine, who talks about several mega-development projects in lower Manhattan that are meeting strong opposition as well as the City Council\u2019s Land Use Committee vote to approve the de Blasio administration\u2019s plan to rezone Governor\u2019s Island in order to bring in retail and hotels, bringing the plan one step closer to fruition.
