One month to the day after Gov. Kathy Hochul ended the state\u2019s eviction moratorium, the Robinson family is fighting with the help of its neighbors to stay in the home that has been theirs since 1951. Sherease Torain, a member of Crown Heights Tenants Union, her mother, Ms. Robinson, and Ms. Robinson\u2019s 98-year-old mother all live in the home. \n\nThe landlord tried multiple times this week to forcibly enter the home at 964 Park Place in Crown Heights. On Tues., Feb 15, the family was back in housing court while dozens of supporters refused to leave the house while dozens of police waited nearby. We speak with Sherease Torain, Nico\xe1s Vargas of Brooklyn Eviction Defense and Joel Feingold of Crown Heights Tenants Union, two of the groups that has come to support the Robinson Family.
