We are joined by Annie Sprinkle and Beth Stephens, pioneers in the field of ecosexuality (the earth is a living being and spirit, they say). The ecosexuals will be hosting a four-day symposium in the East Village starting on Thursday, June 15, Exploring the Earth as Lover: Ecosex and the City, the idea is to forage new relationships with the environment, engage in human/ non-human collaboration, critique calcified ideologies, and engage in new sexualities\u2014all through the lens of environmentalism that is feminist, queer, sensual, sexual, posthuman, exuberant, and steeped in humor and play.
