I spoke with Hope Bird and Allison Smartt who met with me over zoom in the social distancing of 2020 to talk with me about IATSE, the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees. We discuss the what\\u2019s, why\\u2019s, and how\\u2019s of the union and its local 99 chapter as well as the Red Alert Movement by workers in live event industries.
