I know Nat is a little jealous that I get to speak to today\\u2019s guest today as she loves engaging with him.\\xa0 Whenever she comes home from a meeting with him, she is uplifted and full of ideas for the future.\\xa0 What a testament to who he is in life: he opens people\\u2019s eyes to possibility.

The \\u2018Conversations Continues\\u2019 today with this creative mind who seems to be able to winners and then invest in them.\\xa0 I get the notion that he may have some super powers - can\\u2019t wait to find out if there\\u2019s a strategy behind it and whether he\\u2019ll share it with us or not\\u2026

Working in marketing strategy and implementation for the past 15 years, this man seems to marry client and agency in a functional environment where he now leads more than 50 staff!

2018 was a big year for this maestro as he was a finalist in EY Entrepreneur of the Year Awards Australia, and claimed the Transport & Logistics business of the year at the Optus myBusiness Awards.

Meet Mark:
Co-Founded and has grown a portfolio of marketing and marketing-related businesses, servicing exclusively multinational FMCG companies. Has recruited and then led high-performing executive teams across multiple business units to achieving annual revenues in excess of $20 million across the group.

Holds a thorough understanding of marketing strategy and implementation, having worked in the industry for the last 15 years and bridging both sides of client / agency divide. Continues to work on multi-disciplinary marketing projects in a strategic capacity, lending experience and insight.

Additionally, has a deep understanding of fulfilment, logistics, international procurement, freight and eCommerce, which has been paramount to success of two businesses within portfolio, including recognition in the AFR Fast100 for three consecutive years (2016, 2017 & 2018), the Deloitte Tech50 awards in 2017 & 2018, the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific in 2017 & 2018, the Smart50 awards in 2017 & 2018 and claiming the Transport & Logistics business of the year in the Optus myBusiness Awards in 2018.

An active VC and advisor, Mark was an early stage investor in the successful Australian eCommerce freight aggregation startup Temando, a pre-seed investor in HR startup Shortlyster, seed investor in international eCommerce startup Hurricane Commerce and seed investor and advisor to manufacturing on demand startup, Disrupt Sports, edutech Startup Vygo and cafe and restaurant aggregator HUM.

In 2018, Mark was nominated and progressed to the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award Finals for Australia.

Proudly serves the community on multiple advisory boards and holds an Executive Board Member role with the Aussie Founders Network and the Queensland Olympic Council.
