Keeping the Temple of YHWH Part 1
The American Standard Diet (SAD) is a diet that is truly Babylonian to the core. Remember in the days of Daniel the prophet when the children of Israel were taken captive that they were given new diet, names, identity and life style. When we were taken into American (Babylonian) captivity we were also given a new diet, names, identity and life style. We live in Babylon (America) and have become truly Babylonians (Americans) in every way. We do not even know what were our original diet, name, identity and life style. We find ourselves stuck following the Beast and his image in their diet, names, identity and life style.
We are a special people and need to understand our heritage as it relate to our diet, name, identity and life style. So we will be going through these areas of our lives. Let us start with our diet. The Bible tells us that our bodies are the temple of YHWH and we are not to destroy our bodies when following the Beast and his image while living in Babylon (America).
1 Cor 3:16-17 (KJV) 16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
We are brought with a price and we should glorify YHWH in our bodies (temples) by eating and living according to his life style not the world or the American Standard Diet (SAD).
1 Cor 6:19-20 (KJV) 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
What is the mystery that YHWH has for humans? He created us so we can follow his will and ways. So we can totally reflect his character and image to the world.
