\\nL.A.-based artist Pachy Garc\\xeda \\u2014 who records as Pachyman \\u2014 reflects on his homeland of Puerto Rico on today\'s Song of the Day.
\\n\\u201cIt\\u2019s like a stream of consciousness,\\u201d he tells Remezcla. \\u201cI wanted to play with the idea of being a bartender, the profession of getting people drunk, and my constant dilemma about returning home \\u2013 which I am still not ready to do. It\\u2019s about grappling with the emotions of my daily life in a casual yet poetic manner.\\u201d
\\nYou can find the track on his new LP, Switched-On, which comes out tomorrow, Friday, September 29th, via ATO Records. The album is a dub-filled delight, and was even recorded on the same model of mixing board that Lee \\u201cScratch\\u201d Perry used in his Kingston studio.\\xa0
