Egyptian-Australian artist\\xa0Moktar proudly infuses influences from his\\xa0Middle-Eastern heritage into his techno, house, and electro compositions. (His father is a famed Egyptian conductor and composer of\\xa0Arabic and folk music.)\\xa0

As he states on Instagram, "I\\u2019ve witnessed many talented musicians in Palestine and Europe facing significant challenges, losing opportunities, and being pushed into silence. It\\u2019s disheartening to see their voices being suppressed. In response, I am determined not to remain silent. Now, more than ever, I feel a responsibility to occupy space with our voices."
