Principal Violin and Oboe Dora Chatzigeorgiou and Maria Papathanasiou join Guildhall HQ for an informal chat ahead of their 29 November Guildhall Symphony Orchestra conducted by Takuo Yuasa at Barbican Hall. They tell us what it’s like on the Guildhall Artist in Performance Masters, their experiences working with the London Symphony Orchestra (including playing under Valery Gergiev) and how it’s been working in rehearsals with guest conductor Takuo – as well as the differences between US and UK conservatoire experiences.
