Testimony of Kidnapping in the Countryside of Guatemala - Report From KPFA Radio (23 Jan 2015)
This report continues to follow the story of Casimiro P\xe9rez. Casimiro is kidnapped by the FRENA militia and forced to participate in their violent attack on a hydroelectric plant. Local police, greatly outnumbered, must stand down as the demonstrators go on their rampage. Casimiro manages to escape from the militia and is rescued by police.\n\nSince 2012 KPFA radio, from Berkley USA, has been pretty active following the Guatemalan situation, particularly in the countryside of our nation.\n\nThis radio report first appeared in Liga Pro-Patria.
