Meet Tom Lux! Tom started a family early in life and had a successful sales career that led him to start his own company at 50. When he lost his biggest client, he was forced to shut it down, which eventually led him back to school to get his Associate\u2019s, Bachelor\u2019s and Master\u2019s degrees in his late 50\u2019s/early 60\u2019s. \n\nTom wrote a book called \u201cThe Golden Attitude\u201d (which you can purchase online through Amazon or Google). The Golden Attitude challenges you to solve any problem by asking, \u201cwhat\u2019s good about this?\u201d He believes, \u201cevery adversity carries with it an equal or better opportunity to the thing that was lost.\u201d He\u2019s applied this theory to the loss of jobs and to the loss of his wife and daughter. Tom believes that it\u2019s about how you choose to respond to the loss, rather than the loss itself. And if you think he\u2019s full of shit, think again. Every time I talk to Tom, he\u2019s in the highest of spirits. He\u2019s a true ray of sunshine. I can\u2019t help but smile when I hear from him. We should all be more like Tom.
