Professor Peter Matheson has led a rich life of theological and historical scholarship, reflection, pastoral care and radical activism. He has urged Churches and States in the UK, Germany and New Zealand to confront violence and war and to work for peace, justice and a more compassionate world while also engaging with many of the major issues of the 20th century.
