After fifteen years, Dane \\u2018Smiley\\u2019 Valencia is back at his hometown in the middle of the desert to collect an inheritance, but the murder of his childhood best friend is all the welcoming he finds. As he tries to find the culprit, he learns everyone in town has changed \\u2014the desert and his past won\\u2019t be kind.
