Published: Sept. 14, 2020, 10:39 a.m.

b"When some of the worlds greatest hair educators are mentioned, todays very special guest Mark Hayes is often one of them named.
\\n
\\nInternational Creative Director of the iconic Sassoon brand, Mark Hayes has inspired hairdressers around the world for over 40 years with his\\xa0coaching\\xa0and\\xa0teaching. And today we\\u2019re to get a privileged insight into his story, going right back to when Mark\\xa0began his\\xa0love affair with hair in 1977 as he started out as an apprentice at the busy Sassoon London Salon on South Molton Street.
\\n
\\n
\\nFor so many hairdressers old and young, the name Sassoon still has the reputation that has been built on developing and providing world-class education at their academies and education centres around the globe. Founded by the most well known and highly regarded hairdresser of all time , Vidal Sassoon, holding the Sassoon International Creative Director role is one of the mosts revered positions to have in hairdressing.
\\n
\\nIn our conversation with Mark, we not only get to learn about how he went from the Sassoon apprentice program in 1979 to today\\xa0leading the worldwide demand for Sassoon's Hair Design, but also the psyche and characteristics that has seen he become one of the worlds greatest hair educators.
\\n
\\nWhat I love more than anything else from our interview with Mark, is how he places the client at the centre of everything he stands for in hairdressing. Technical excellence, yes, but to be an intuitive communicator who's goal is to make everyone of his clients feel happy with what ever he creates for them. This is a special listen with a very special hairdresser. Enjoy!
