Jay DeMerit is a former footballer who played as a center back for the US Men's National Team, Watford and the Vancouver Whitecaps. 

His journey is the pinnacle of what it means to "take a risk" & "take your chances". 

Jay booked a one way flight over to England when he was 23 years old straight after college. 

He started his career in the 9th Division.

Within 2 years, he was playing against the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney and DIdier Drogba.
