b"For some brands, sustainability and ethical production can be a second thought or something that is addressed down the track, but that was never the case for these two incredible women. Armadillo & Co. founders Jodie Fried and Sally Pottharst wanted their brand to be driven by ethics as well as aesthetics. Each rug is made by hand from natural and sustainable fibres, using Fair Trade practices. They are driven by a desire to elevate age-old methods of craftsmanship through a uniquely Australian contemporary design process. Founded in 2009, they've always proudly shared their story, but not quite like this. To hear these two talk about their incredible decade long experience was not only inspirational but also an emotional journey. For those looking to start a business, this is how you do it with the right approach from day one. With the launch of their Sydney showroom at the end of last year, there's no slowing down for this iconic Australian brand and we can't wait to see what's next.\\n\\nThank you to Globewest for helping bring this series to you and for supporting Women in Design.\\n\\nFor more info on Jodie and Sally, and to see our edit inspired by Armadillo & Co., check out the House of Style Journal at https://www.houseofstyle.net.au/journal/2020/episode16/armadilloandco\\n\\nFollow us on Instagram at https://instagram.com/houseofstylepodcast\\nFollow Armadillo & Co. on Instagram at https://instagram.com/armadilloandco"
