Fittingly starting with \\u201cToo Young to Die\\u201d with a rather long medley of Moloko\\u2019s \\u201cSing it Back\\u201d in the first third. At that stage, I had to attend to some social duties and cued what is one of my favourite tune to fill up the blanks.

One month ago some nihilistic losers butchered 130 women and men in Paris\\u2026

Forget about the social media meltdown, France is my country and Paris my city. Whereas France is actually far from being the model country it aspires to be, by attacking \\u201cher\\u201d for being the \\u201ccapital of prostitution and obscenity\\u201d, those bastards just proved that somehow those symbols of secularism and freedom are still alive and worth celebrating.

Forward to a few days ago\\u2026 I was unable to mix anything, which wasn\\u2019t dark and filled with anger for a month until we decided to have an impromptu party. The core nexus of friends who could make it facing Xtian who was wondering what would spark his muse and how he could get out of his negative loop and make himself and his friends happy.

I played a 4 hour set, took about 20 minutes to get into it but once I found the right format for this forum it flowed. Got out of my spleen and played fun eclectic jams, old and new edits of tunes everyone knew but cuts they had not heard before. Whereas my usual format is to play current paid releases in whatever genre takes my fancy, I went into a \\u201cRichard Vasquez/Doctor Love\\u201d mode and played for me and for my friends.

Four hours later, they were asking for more and pushing me to go harder and louder. Take that nihilistic butchers, this is our answer to your dead-end philosophy.

The Dex Diamond remix of King of my Castle is an illegal download. Why do I mention it? Simply because it is NOT available for legal download anywhere. Though listed on ITunes, release is only available from iTunes Denmark, making it illegal here down under. What a complete nonsense from the majors! I even went through the trouble of contacting the artist to see how I could obtain the release legally to no avail.. Since I had paid for the tune in the past but can\\u2019t find it, I feel I have done all I could do. Pity, I only have the crap encoding version though..
