b'This month we read Black Girls Must Die Exhausted by Jayne Allen. Jayne introduced us to Tabitha Walker who was met with the hardest news of her life and we read the events that displayed Tabitha balancing it all. We discussed our favorite hairstyles and our most embarrassing hair moments, although we were setting trends.

Tabitha and her family/friend’s experiences had us discussing how our lives and experiences related. We discussed relationships, friendships, family, and work events that resurfaced while reading BGMDE. Filled with laughs, cries, and everything in between Tabitha Walker has marked a place in our hearts. BGMDE was a fun, relatable read that shed light on the complications of being a black woman in today’s demanding society. We were able to see how all of the female characters handled the demands in their own life and what consequences they faced. BGMDE is a must-read.

This month we featured Amber Janae’s The Intentional Living Workbook. This workbook was created to support living your life more intentionally.
