It\u2019s okay to feel sad. It\u2019s okay to have REAL feelings even if they are not sunshine and rainbows.\xa0
Unfortunately, our society has conditioned us to believe that we must be happy all the time or there is a defect in our personality. \xa0

Well guess what. Some things ARE sad. Like the loss of a loved one, a divorce, an addicted child, or even just a shitty day.\xa0 Your feelings are valid. You aren\u2019t being too sensitive, or dramatic. You are hurting.

Allow yourself to feel it. Sadness cracks you open to feeling. To feeling the pain. When you try to avoid the pain, it creates greater pain.\xa0 So feel the feels so you can learn to be happy again.
