Like A Flower

I keep a container of fresh flowers on my kitchen table year-round. Sometimes they are cut from my garden, but most of the time I buy them.
I love the sight of them, bursting with color, an instant pick-me-up.\xa0 But I also use them as a remember that beautiful things growth through dirt, and need rainy days.
It\u2019s easy to only want sunny, perfect days in our life. A life with no dark days, no storms. But it\u2019s good to remember that WE also grow during difficult times, those stormy, dark times. They help us bloom into our highest self.
