Morning Mantra: "Kindness is a reflection of your soul."
I have been reminded more than once not to be too nice to people or they will take advantage of me. They will hurt me.
I always listen to their warnings, but I know I want my behavior to reflect the person I am, not the person that is afraid to get hurt.
Caring for others and living my values is not an act, it is who I am. If the world is cruel back, I won't let it change who I am.
Because despite the harshness, I want to be a reflection of goodness, and love.
