It is so easy these days to get the wrong idea about something because we communicate through writing more than we talk.
A text or an email can be read a multitude of ways.
Usually, we read it in the worst way. Assuming the person that wrote it meant to hurt us or criticize us.
There is only one way to get a clear answer on the intent, and that is to ask. Just ask.
Ask so there is no miscommunication.
Ask so there are no misunderstandings.
Ask before you respond.
Ask before you assume the worse.
Because they cannot read your mind, and you can\u2019t read theirs either.\xa0
