Well, it\u2019s almost the end of the first month of the new year.\xa0 The time of year that we realize we might have broken our New Year\u2019s resolutions. This realization might make you feel defeated, disappointed in yourself, and ready to give up.

But those are just feelings generated by negative self-talk.\xa0 It\u2019s not who you REALLY are.\xa0 YOU are awesome!\xa0 YOU are strong!\xa0 YOU are kind!\xa0 YOU are loved.\xa0 YOU are important to this world!\xa0 THAT\u2019S who you REALLY are.

Don\u2019t quit! Do something small.\xa0 If the mountain seems too big, climb a little hill. If the walk seems too long, don\u2019t go that far.\xa0 If you don\u2019t feel like going to the gym, stretch right where you are.\xa0 If you feel like you ruined your diet plan, start over again today.

Take a baby step. Then another. Then another. And feel GOOD about whatever you accomplish.\xa0 Replace those negative thoughts with positive ones and lose yourself and those self-defeating thoughts to improve yourself.
