Be A Choosey Engager
Morning Mantra: \u201cWe cannot choose whether to engage with the world, only how to.\u201d
Oh believe me, there are days when I wish I didn\u2019t have to go out into the world. \xa0
Those are the days that I\u2019ve decided in my head that it is too big, too scary, too chaotic, too sad.
Therefore, I engage with it as a fearful, stressed out, depressed person.\xa0
Not much fun to be around and certainly not living as my best self.
On those days I must actively choose not to focus on those things.
I must choose to focus on the beauty, the joy, the little things that I can manage.
I must choose to be helpful, be patient, be kind.
When I do, things change. I change, my mood changes, my perspective changes.
