How does former New York's Mr.Basketball & Gatorade Player of The Year have trouble adjusting to the next level? How does someone who's played on the same High School teams with Tyreke Evans and Tobias Harris not get the same opportunities to showcase his talent? Ash Yacoubou tells his story of what happened behind the scenes after committing to the University of Villanova - and how transferring to the University of Saint Louis was just bad timing. Going overseas wasn't a walk in the park either. Ash just can't find the right system that fits his style of play. However, he thinks he's found a home in the G league with the Long Island Nets. And believe it or not, the G League is more of a shortcut to the NBA than everyone thinks. No matter where his journey takes him, Ash is happy as a basketball player. Does he have regrets...sure! But he couldn't of done any of this without the Man upstairs! See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
