How should you install a recessed shower niche?

1. Don\\u2019t add a recessed niche on an exterior wall because you can\\u2019t insulate behind it

\\n

\\xa0

\\n

2. Buy a pre-made shower niche from Schluter, Wedi, or Laticrete

\\n

\\xa0

\\n

3. If you build a shower niche Steve recommends doing it with Wedi building panels

\\n

\\xa0

\\n

4. When designing a shower niche you can frame it with pencil trim, bullnose edging, and metal edging

\\n

\\xa0

\\n

5. If you want a unique look inside the niche you can use 3/8\\u201d tempered glass

\\n

\\xa0

\\n
