Should you buy a miter saw or circular saw?

\\nHere\\u2019s my suggestion, if you\\u2019re making miter cuts for crown molding opt of a miter saw.

\\nStraight cuts can be done by circular saws, so if you\\u2019re doing mostly straight cuts for framing or furniture you should think about getting a circular saw.
