\\n

Check on the anode rod.

\\n

What the heck is an anode rod?

\\n

\\n

Once the anode is shot that\\u2019s when the water starts to eat the tank.

\\n

\\xa0

\\n

Rheem recommends inspecting the anode once a year and has specific instructions on how to know when it needs to be replaced.
